To be completely honest, the weather has been a bit unstable the past few years so you might get full sunshine even though the forecast says otherwise. My main recommendation if you will be visiting Slovenia in November is to keep your schedule flexible!
There is no need to buy tickets in advance because it is low season. Instead, make a list of what you want to see and organize your days based on what the weather looks like.

- Go on a wine tasting or wine festival – November is wine month! Schedule a trip to Maribor for Martinovanje, you won’t regret it.

- Explore the art and culture in Ljubljana – this is the best time to hit the museums, the Ljubljana Castle, and other cultural attractions

Lake Bled is a very popular place to go in November in Slovenia. It will be much quieter than earlier in the season, and most of the attractions in Bled are open all year round.

Late October and early November can be a good time of the year to see the fall colors. It depends on how the weather will be on the specific dates of your trip, but in general, the orange foliage is at its peak around the end of October.
The higher altitude hikes will already be closed by November since the higher mountain huts tend to close earlier in the year. However, it is possible to do short hikes depending on the weather conditions.

- Impermeable jacket – ideally your winter jacket should also be impermeable so you will be ok even if it rains (which is likely). Alternatively, make sure you have an umbrella
