Best glamping places in Slovenia for unique experiences
Glamping has recently become our favorite type of accommodation, so we have been searching for the best glamping places in Slovenia.
We have lived and traveled through Slovenia for the past 5 years, and it is our mission to create the best guides and resources to help you travel through our country as well.
This is why we created this list of the best glamping places in Slovenia. Bear in mind that this list is still being adapted as we travel. The more places we experience, the more this list grows so we are keeping it always up to date for you guys.

1. Gozdna Jasa β The best glamping in the SoΔa Valley
Gozdna Jasa is a beautiful property located just outside of Bovec, in the heart of the SoΔa Valley.
We discovered this glamping in the summer of 2024 and instantly fell in love with it. They are the only glamping in Slovenia that uses lotus belle tents.
The property has only 6 tents and is perfect for couples. The tents have shared toilets and an incredible breakfast included. The location of the glamping is perfect for exploring the SoΔa Valley.
They also have a jacuzzi, hammocks, and summer bonfire nights.
Our favorite part about Gozdna Jasa is that the glamping is run by a really incredible local family who can give you the best tips about visiting the area.
2. Garden Village Bled
This is by far the best glamping in Bled.
Garden Village is like your childhood treehouse dream β except it’s made for adults and families.
It is located very close to Lake Bled, but outside the main route which is a great plus because it means that it is very quiet around the property.
I love how they have the setup of the treehouses. It is incredibly cozy and still very fun. They usually sell out during the summer so make sure you book your spot in advance!
3. Chocolate Village by the River
This is one of the most special glamping places in Slovenia.
They are located just outside of Maribor, in the Eastern part of Slovenia. They are open all year round and can serve as a base for the ski season during the winter, as well as a relaxing summer holiday destination.
Each cabin is super unique, with a very luxurious and modern touch. I honestly love their design.
They also have a spa, sauna, and wellness area, which is perfect for a relaxing vacation.
4. Herbal Glamping Resort
This glamping is located in Ljubno, in the middle of nature.
It is a very secluded spot, outside of any major city, so it is really a place where you can disconnect.
The glamping tents at Herbal Resort are quite large, with two floors. They are perfect for families, in my opinion, because the kids get that feeling of sleeping in a treehouse.
The property also has a natural pool and a very good restaurant on site. This means that you can go out to explore during the day with the guarantee of a good meal once you are back.
5. Chateau RamΕ‘ak
Chateau RamΕ‘ak is considered one of the best glamping places in Slovenia.
They are located close to Maribor and they provide you with a very unique vineyard glamping experience, which we love!
They offer tents and treehouses with a luxury setup that includes a private hot tub outside the tent. After traveling a lot in Slovenia, I actually think they have built one of the nicest accommodations in the country.
They are also one of the few glamping places in Slovenia that are open all year round.
6. Theodosius Forest Village
This glamping has one of the most unique properties in Slovenia. They are located in the Vipava Valley, one of our favorite wine regions in Slovenia.
What I love about their glamping is that besides the cabins being very comfortable and modern, they have minimal visual impact on the forest in which they are located.
Some of the cabins have mirrored outdoor walls so they literally look camouflaged. It’s a really incredible concept.
In my opinion, Theodosius is one of the best glamping places in Slovenia for couples. I find the entire setting incredibly romantic and the wine region offers so many options of things to do around the property.
7. Green Valley Glamping
Green Valley is an amazing glamping for families in Slovenia.
They are located in Ε eΕ‘Δe pri Preboldu which is just a few minutes out of Celje.
We were there in the summer of 2024 and we had a really amazing time. They have three different types of tents, all optimized for families with kids since they can all host up to 4 people or more.
We stayed in the Luxury tent which has its own private kitchen. All the tents have shared toilets but we loved that they have the option of open showers!
Green Valley also has a pool and a lot of options for activities for kids. They are open only during the summer in Slovenia.
8. Beeland
This is one of the most unique glamping places in Slovenia. The chalets are built to resemble a beehive, hence the name.
Beeland is located in Mozirje in a quite peaceful area. It is a perfect place for couples because the beehive chalets accommodate two people really nicely.
The chalets are focused on relaxation and wellness. They have a private sauna and jacuzzi inside, as well as an outdoor relaxing area and natural pool.
Make sure you pay attention when booking, since they also have apartments available for booking which are located in the main building.
9. Ribno Alpine Glamping
This is one of our favorite glamping places near Bled. They are technically located in Ribno, which is the next village, but it is only a short drive from Lake Bled.
Ribno Alpine Glamping is a property owned by the same owners as the Ribno Alpine Hotel, which is also one of our favorite places to stay in Bled.
On the glamping site, they have created unique wooden cabins that have a private hot tub on the terrace. The chalets are small but really cozy.
They fit up to 4 people if you are traveling with kids, but I would say they are optimal for a couple.
10. Wine Paradise
This is a fairly new glamping property here in Slovenia.
They are located in Marezige, right next to the wine fountain on the Slovenian Coast. The resort is focused on the wine experience since this region is a strong wine producer.
The glamping resort consists of 10 wooden cabins with a beautiful view of the vineyard and the sea. The wooden cabins are quite modern and have private bathrooms.
Some of the cabins are more equipped than others. Most of them are suitable just for couples, except for the main villa which has two separate bedrooms.
There is a main pool in the common area and some of the cabins also have a private jacuzzi.
My favorite thing about this glamping is the view, though.
11. Glamping Vinska Vas
Vinska Vas is a glamping that provides a very unique experience here in Slovenia because you get to sleep inside a wine barrel!
They are located in Ptuj, around one of Slovenia’s main wine regions.
They created something very original in this property. Each chalet is made in a wooden barrel and fits up to two people only.
They are owned by Sava Hotels & Resorts, one of the largest hotel chains here in Slovenia. The glamping site is part of Terme Ptuj so you also get access to the thermal spa when staying there.
